Cape Cod Mall Hosting Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic

The clinic will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to anyone over 18 and the Pfizer vaccine to anyone over 12 with parental consent.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable County health officials will host a coronavirus vaccine clinic at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis Saturday.

The clinic is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to anyone over 18 and the Pfizer vaccine to anyone over 12 with parental consent. Health officials will set up the clinic next to Express across from American Eagle Outfitters.

"We want to provide a convenient walk-up vaccine experience for mall shoppers," said Theresa Covell, the assistant public health nurse for the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment. "We hope to reach people who haven't yet had the chance to get the vaccine."

Paper registration will also be available on-site for anyone who prefers it. For those who require a second-dose vaccine appointment, our staff will assist recipients in scheduling those appointments before they leave the clinic.
