Ethel Kennedy Nominates President Obama for Ice Bucket Challenge
The 86-year-old matriarch encourages President Barack Obama to pour a bucket of ice water over his head for ALS.

President Obama arrived in Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday, and the buzz surrounding his visit was just starting to die down.
But then Ethel Kennedy, widow of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, took the Ice Bucket Challenge and announced the Commander-in-chief as her preferred successor.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign that raises money for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. While on camera, participants pour ice water over their heads and declare the name of an individual they wish to follow suit.
