Hyannis Road Closing For Railroad Construction

There will be detour signs on Braggs Lane and Old Jail Lane, as well as the entrances for those streets on Route 6A.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Hyannis Road will close Friday morning for construction work at the railroad crossing.

Police said the road will be closed from 7 a.m., Friday to around 8 p.m., Saturday. The road will be closed between Braggs Lane and Main Street, Route 6A.

There will be detour signs on Braggs Lane and Old Jail Lane, as well as the entrances for those streets on Route 6A. Motorists should expect delays.
