Hyannis Woman, 22, Killed In Route 6 Rollover

Police said the early-morning crash in Dennis killed one and injured another.

DENNIS, MA — A 22-year-old Hyannis woman was killed Sunday in an early-morning crash on Route 6, State Police said.

Police said the car was driving east near Exit78A when it crossed the solid yellow fog line on the northern edge of the road and drove onto the rumble strip. The driver turned hard to get back into the travel lane, but the car rolled over off the road.

The driver, who police said was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car. The front passenger, who police said was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.
