Maintenance Work To Create Lane Restrictions On Sagamore Bridge
A U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers' work project will begin Thursday night and limit travel to one lane in each direction until Friday morning.
BARNSTABLE, MA – Local residents who may have plans that take them off the Cape Thursday night may have to adjust their travel schedule due to a maintenance project that will begin on Sagamore Bridge and is scheduled to run through Friday morning.
Barnstable town officials announced Thursday morning that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be conducting the bridge work beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday. The work is scheduled to end at 5 a.m. Friday weather pemitting. Travel will be reduced down to one lane in each direction as work is being conducted.
