Marijuana Dispensary Opening On Cape Cod With Live Music

WELLFLEET, MA — A second recreational marijuana dispensary is coming to Wellfleet.

Piping Plover is set to open at 10 a.m., Saturday and will celebrate it with live music and refreshments. The festivities include coffee and pastries from The Fox and Crow Cafe, music by PanNeubean Steel and DJ Emerson, and all-day giveaways.

The store will also have several cannabis products for sale. They include flower, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolled joints, vaporizers, tinctures and topicals.

Piping Plover's store is fully powered by solar panels. Customers can find the dispensary at 10 Main St. It's open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

Piping Plover is the second cannabis dispensary to open in Wellfleet over the last two months. Cape Cod Cannabis opened last month at the former home of the South Wellfleet General Store.

There's now four recreational dispensaries on Cape Cod, with two others in Provincetown: Curaleaf and b/well. There's also a medical cannabis dispensary in Mashpee, Triple M.
