Orleans DPW Adding Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic
There will be 1,000 Pfizer doses available.
ORLEANS, MA — Cape Cod health officials said they will add a coronavirus vaccine clinic at the Orleans Department of Public Works.
The drive-thru clinic is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday. Barnstable County officials said the clinic will distribute the Pfizer vaccine, meaning a second appointment will be required. There will be 1,000 doses available.
Residents over 65, workers in Phase 1 of the vaccine rollout, people with two or more comorbidities, teachers, child care workers, school staff, certain essential workers and residents and staff of low income and affordable senior housing are eligible for the clinic. Registration begins at 4p.m. Friday and can be found here.

Important Registration Rules and Tips:
- Leave pets at home.
- There are no restrooms on site.
- Individuals arriving at vaccination sites must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.

While waiting, you will likely see the estimated wait times fluctuate between long and short periods; disregard these reported estimated wait times and persist as long as you are able.

- When going to www.maimmunizations.org, scroll down until you see this clinic listed. Officials advise that you do not type in the date or any other parameters, such as “senior” or “adult” in the search.
These clinics are organized by Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment and are separate from clinics offered by Cape Cod Healthcare.
