Route 28 Crash Hospitalizes Woman, Infant
The woman suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to a Boston area hospital after her car struck a tree.
YARMOUTH, MA — A woman and an infant were hospitalized Monday morning after the woman's car struck a tree, according to police.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m., on Route 28 near Seaview Avenue in Yarmouth. Police said the woman suffered serious injuries and had to be airlifted to a Boston area hospital. The baby was taken to Cape Cod Hospital and appeared to be fine, according to police.
Yarmouth police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
