Town of Sandwich will become “Ice Cream Sandwich” for a Day!
On August 2nd, celebrate with a delicious Hood® Ice Cream Sandwich
Did you know that Hood Ice Cream Sandwiches were inspired by the Town of Sandwich? Okay. Well, that’s not quite the truth but it should be, right? The Town of Sandwich and Hood® do share some similarities. They are both quintessential to summers in New England and bring out the big kid in all of us.
Together, the oldest town on Cape Cod and our favorite New England ice cream brand are announcing some cool news: The Sandwich Board of Selectmen have made a proclamation, declaring a name-change for the town to “Ice Cream Sandwich” on August 2, 2020 in honor of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.
So, join the celebration and unwrap the ultimate simple joy, a Hood Ice Cream Sandwich. Enjoy the familiar way the delicate paper unfolds, the smell of vanilla ice cream and the sensation of that first creamy bite. So good.
