Curator Gresh to Headline October Beacon Hill Women's Forum
Gresh curated the MFA's "She Who Tells a Story" featuring the work of women photographers from the Arab world.

Kristen Gresh, the Estrellita and Yousuf Karsh Assistant Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston who curated the "She Who Tells a Story" exhibition at MFA, will headline the October Beacon Hill Women's Forum.
According to the Women's Forum's Suzanne Besser, her appearance will take place at the Oct. 1 meeting, which will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hampshire House.
"She Who Tells a Story" is a current MFA exhibition featuring the work of 12 women photographers from the Arab world that "challenges visitors to share in the vision of a group of artists as they tell their own stories in images of great sophistication, expressiveness and beauty."
Gresh will be telling the Women's Forum how she found the works for the exhibit and "the elements of staging the exhibition, including conducting interviews with the artists, and her experiences living and working abroad, and returning home with family in tow," according to a statement from Besser.
There will be appetizers and a cash bar. There's a $50 fee to join the Forum and $20 for each meeting. A September special upfront price of $180 covers the joining fee and entry to all 2013-2014 events.
