Michelle Peirce and Bruce Singal awarded Lawyers of the Year
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly honored Bruce Singal and Michelle Peirce for their representation of New England Compounding Center owner.

Partners Michelle Peirce and Bruce Singal, co-Chairs of the Litigation Department at Barrett & Singal in Boston, were honored as 2017 Lawyers of the Year for their representation of Barry Cadden in the nationally-covered New England Compounding Center criminal case arising out of the 2012 meningitis outbreak. After a ten-week trial in federal court in Boston, Bruce and Michelle – along with litigation partner Cal Stein – secured a verdict of not guilty on all twenty-five charges of second-degree murder against Mr. Cadden. The honor was bestowed by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly on several Massachusetts lawyers for their achievements during the previous year.
