124 CHESTNUT ST. OPEN FORUM

A community open house has also been planned to answer questions and act as a forum for discussion for the 124 Chestnut St. demolition project. The public is welcome to join on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Hampshire House (Thayer Room, 84 Beacon St.) between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

It's Boston Restaurant Week this week through Friday, then kicking off again next Sunday through the rest of next week. Take a look here at what Beacon Hill restaurants are participating and the great deals you can get.

FREE FUN FRIDAYS AT MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY

The Museum of African American History at 46 Joy St. on Beacon Hill will be taking part in this weekend's edition of the Highland Street Foundation's Free Fun Fridays. More information here.
