Phones Out at Police, City Offices
District police phones are working, as is the 911 system.
The phones are down at Boston City Hall, the Boston Police headquarters and Court Street offices, city officials announced via a tweet Friday morning.
The phones are working in district police stations, and the 911 system is working as it should, the city said. There is no word yet on the cause of the phone outage or when service will be restored.
