Police: Woman Allegedly Shoved Toddler in Public Garden
The Make Way for Ducklings statue was the site of the alleged confrontation, and now Boston police are seeking the public's help.
Boston, MA - Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a woman who allegedly injured a toddler near the Public Garden's famous Make Way for Ducklings statue.
According to the Boston Police Department, parents said the woman pictured above swore at their two-year-old daughter and pushed her to the ground while the toddler was playing near the iconic statue. The incident caused what police describe as a minor abrasion to the girl's ankle.
The incident occurring about 4:48 p.m. on Sun., April 17. Although it happened more than a month ago, police said the parents are pushing for action.

"The Boston Police Department continues to actively review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident," a police press release said.
Anyone with information relative to the suspect’s identity is asked to call District A-1 (Downtown) detectives at (617) 343-4248. Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of those who wish to help this investigation anonymously.
