State House Tree Lighting This Tuesday
Gov. Charlie Baker will be there, but he just might get upstaged by a certain jolly old elf who's also expected to attend.

BOSTON, MA — Gov. Charlie Baker, Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and other state leaders welcome the public to the Massachusetts State House Tuesday for the state's annual tree lighting.
Per a governor's office press release, the annual State House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Open House is Tuesday, November 29, from 5-7:30 p.m. Guests will also be able to enjoy holiday carols, a viewing of “Elf” in the Great Hall and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Vendors and performers will include the Boston Children’s Chorus, Red Apple Farm, Smolak Farms, Cape Cod Provisions, Hood Dairy and Copper Kettle Bakery.
