Waltham Real Estate Co. Seizes Beacon Hill Market
The market reportedly owed more than $54,000 in unpaid rent.

With a notice citing the business in owing more than $54,000 in rent, the Beacon Hill Market closed “abruptly” last week. Empire Realty Trust, based in Waltham, seized the property after a court ruling in October, reported the Beacon Hill Times.
The owner had vacated a market on Charles Street two years ago, and emailed the Beacon Hill Times that the business is closed for renovations.
The Beacon Hill Market Facebook page had apparently been removed.
