
BOSTON, MA – A water main break is impacting the Friday morning commute in Boston, according to multiple reports. The break occurred at the intersection of Charles and Revere streets around 3:30 a.m.
Police have closed down the impacted areas as water continues to flow through the neighborhood. Boston Water and Sewer Commission spokesman Stephen Mulloney told the Boston Globe at least Revere Street will be closed all day due to road damage.
The BWSC said on Twitter that residents should expect disruptions to their water service Friday, and traffic will be detoured based on repair progress.
