Winter Clothes Left on Common for Those in Need

A good Samaritan has been hanging coats and scarves for the needy on trees in Boston Common. Rebekah Barrasso, of Malden, has left dozens of scarves, gloves and coats, according to WHDH, 7 News. NewsCenter 5.
Barrasso posted a sign near the tree she hung scarves and other warm items. “These are not lost. If you are stuck out in the cold, please take what you need to keep warm,” the sign reads
City officials said the clothing will not be taken down as long as it is not damaging trees or park property, according to WHDH, 7 News.
