Bedford Condo Sales Increase in January

A new report from The Warren Group indicates that sales of condos in Bedford in the first month of 2013 increased compared to the numbers from January 2012. 

According to the report, five condos sold in Bedford in January 2013, an increase of 400 percent over the one condo that sold in Bedford in January 2012.

The median sale price for condos in Bedford this January was $216,000.

The median sale price for condos across Massachusetts in January increased 11 percent to 1,006 from 907 in January 2012, according to the Warren Group.

Statewide, the median sale price for condos dropped from $244,500 in January 2012 to $240,000 in 2013, a 2 percent decrease and the lowest price for condos statewide since 2009, when the median price was $209,900.

Sales of single-family homes in Bedford in the first month of 2013 have remained consistent compared to the numbers from January 2012. The median sale price for Massachusetts single-family homes rose 6.8 percent from $260,000 in January 2012 to $277,750 in 2013.
