Bedford Day 2017 Guide: Parade, Fair, Street Closures, More
The annual event is this Saturday, Sept. 23.

BEDFORD, MA – Bedford Day, the town's annual event that offers activities throughout the day, is this Saturday, Sept. 23. The event is an opportunity for non-profits to raise money, while giving residents the chance to catch up with their friends and neighbors, according to Amy Hamilton, Bedford's director of recreation.
The town parade will be held at 10:30 a.m. and a fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot. Over 100 vendors, including food vendors, non-profits and local organizations, are expected to attend.
The following road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect, according to the Bedford Police Department:

The Great Road (from Great/Loomis to Great Road at North/Concord) will be closed for the parade from 10 a.m. to approximately noon. Traffic will be detoured around the event during those times.
Loomis Street will be closed at 9:30 a.m. for parade staging. There will be an extension of the overnight parking ban on The Great Road throughout the morning until after the parade ends.

Any vehicles found parked on The Great Road the morning of Sept. 23 will be cited and subject to tow if the owners cannot be located.
