Bedford Mosquito Spraying Slated For This Week

The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will spray certain neighborhoods in Bedford on Thursday.

BEDFORD, MA – Mosquito spraying is planned for certain neighborhoods in Bedford this Thursday. The spraying is part of the East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project's initiative to tackle large mosquito populations that have emerged primarily from the Concord River flood plain.

Spraying starts after dusk and ends no later than 11:30 p.m. Truck-mounted aerosol sprayers will apply Sumithrin to the following neighborhoods in Bedford on Thursday, June 15:

  • Concord Rd.
  • Davis Rd.
  • Carlisle Rd.
  • North Rd.
  • Huckins Farm
