Bedford To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Lynnfield
The Buccaneers take on the Lynnfield Pioneers in the first round of the football tournament.
BEDFORD, MA – Bedford heads to the MIAA Football North Division 5 tournament, taking on Lynnfield Oct. 27.
The Buccaneers, seeded eighth with a 2-5 record, will kick off the tournament against the top-seeded Pioneers, who enter the tournament with a 6-1 record. Bedford goes up against Lynnfield Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at Lynnfield.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
