Boy Scouts Find Body At Bedford Boat Ramp
Police and DA's office have labeled the death as 'suspicious.'

BEDFORD, MA -- A body found near the Carlisle Road boat ramp on the Concord River is considered "suspicious," according to a joint statement Saturday night by Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Bedford Police Chief Robert Bongiorno.
Police responded to the area off Route 225 in Bedford shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday after a report that a group of Boy Scouts cleaning up trash along the river had observed something suspicious along the embankment, according to the statement.
Upon arrival police located the body. The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The identity of the victim has not yet been determined.
This death is being considered "suspicious," according to officials.

Officials say this is an active and ongoing investigation.
"To protect the integrity of the investigation additional details are not being released at this time," according to the statement.
