BuyBedford: New Shop Local Campaign Launched
Support local businesses when you're thinking of making a purchase, whether it's a holiday gift, a gift card, a haircut, or take out.
November 12, 2020
The Town of Bedford, in coordination with our business partners, is launching a new campaign to support local businesses during the pandemic. As winter approaches, it is more important than ever to support our small businesses by spending our dollars in Town when possible. This initiative will help our small and independent businesses and minimize the financial impact to our local economy. Please support our local businesses when you’re thinking of making a purchase, whether it’s a holiday gift, a gift card, a haircut, or take out.

We have compiled an up to date list of storefront businesses as a helpful guide to residents on the businesses that are open and the services they are offering. The BuyBedford website takes the place of the BedfordTakeOut website that was launched last spring and expands it to include shops, salons, and fitness studios. Local businesses are meeting safety protocols, and many have retooled their services to provide online shopping, outdoor classes, curbside pickup and delivery to make it easier for residents to purchase goods and services.
We’re encouraging you to tag #BuyBedford on social media next time you make a purchase at your favorite store or restaurant to encourage others to shop local!
