Friday, March 4

12:34 a.m. - Anonymous call from Bedford Village reporting a resident is doing a lot of banging around. Officer reports he spoke to the resident who reports will be going to bed at this time.

7:33 a.m. - Integrated Security reports bank alarm at Dedham Savings Bank, 100 Old Billerica Road. The alarm is for the front door, motion, and the safe door alarm. Prior to obtaining a phone number for this bank (not listed in house), Integrated called back to cancel the response.

12:14 p.m. - Person in station reporting a larceny.

2:18 p.m. - Person in station reporting a past hit and run at Stop & Shop.

4:37 p.m. - Sergeant received an anonymous call reporting a group of kids possibly playing with matches in the area of 22 Harvard Drive. Officer dispatched reports leaves have been lit on fire outside of 6 Harvard Drive, the fire has been extinguished. Officer reports he spoke with an individual and the group of kids have ceased playing with the matches and moved along, all in order at this time.

4:42 p.m. - Police received a call reporting a homeless man camped out outside of 158 The Great Road, Bank of America. Officer on arrival reports he spoke with the individual who is charging his phone and staying at the Bedford Motel and waiting for a room at the VA.

10:01 p.m. - Police received a call from State Police Concord reporting a vehicle that is stopped on the off-ramp from Rte. 3 NB to Rte. 62, and the operator is slumped over the wheel. Several officials responded. Command reported no EMS, police matter. Sgt. Saunders responding. Officer reported State Police on scene and will handle.

10:40 p.m. - Police received a call from Bank of America Corporate Security reporting a commercial burglar alarm at 152 The Great Road, Bank of America. Alarm company reports the alarm is coming from the ATM. Officer Kennedy reports the building checked secure.
