Congressman Moulton Urges Residents to Stand With France
We mourn their loss, pray for peace, and will help ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice, he stated.

Sixth District Congressman Seth Moulton, who represents Bedford, urged the residents of the United States to stand by France in the wake of Friday’s terrorists attacks as France stood by the U.S. after 9/11.
“We mourn their loss, pray for peace, and will help ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice,” Moulton stated in a release on Saturday.
The attacks that killed more than 120 people in Paris only underscores the need to defeat the terrorist group, Moulton said.

“As I have emphasized for months, ISIS is a national security threat to us and to our allies, and their ambitions clearly extend well beyond the Middle East,” Moulton stated “We must have a serious, long-term strategy to defeat ISIS. Putting a few troops on the ground without a comprehensive plan to ensure the peace will never be sufficient.”
If someone you know is in Paris and needs help, Moulton said he and the State Department ready to assist.
