Driver Arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs, Two Warrant Arrests, an Erratic Driver and More

BEDFORD, MA - The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Bedford Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, March 7

10:03 a.m. - Received a 911 call reporting an outside fire in the area of 90 Concord Road. Officers on scene report the fire was extinguished, homeowner was advised to keep the burning more controlled in the future. Companies clear and returning.

10:58 a.m. - Caller reporting a truck took down a low wire. Officers dispatched, Verizon notified.

12:25 p.m. - Police received multiple calls reporting a MVC without injury at 4 Crosby Drive. Officers arrested Kelli Yeo, 24, of Billerica for operating under the influence of drugs and disorderly conduct.

3:21 p.m. - Police received a 911 call reporting a deceased deer on the VA property near building 61. VA police notified and responding.

6:36 p.m. - Caller reporting a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside of building 5 at 5000 Thompson Farm. The caller reports 40 minutes to making her call she observed a black Chevy putting a spotlight to the second floor of building 5. The vehicle then left the area on Middlesex Turnpike headed toward Crosby Drive. Officer dispatched reports the vehicle was gone on arrival.

9:11 p.m. - Caller reports a black SUV on Old Burlington Road dropping boxes off and making it impossible to drive around it. Officer reports the vehicle was gone on arrival, and there were no hazards on Old Burlington Road.

9:23 p.m. - Police received a call from Essex Regional reporting a motor vehicle crash with airbag deployed on Route 3 Northbound between Exit 26 and 27. Officers dispatched, State Police Concord notified. Two vehicles were involved in the accident and a second ambulance was requested. Both vehicles refused EMS, State Police to handle.

Tuesday, March 8

8:56 a.m. - Caller reporting the larceny of client files from 200 The Great Road.

12:48 p.m. - Caller reports a raccoon in the front yard of 5 Birchwood Drive. Animal Control Officer reports the raccoon has been exterminated. DPW notified and responding.

3:07 p.m. - Police received a call from the VA Hospital police reporting they have a party in custody with an active warrant. Brian Dudley, 49, of Quincy was arrested on a warrant from Quincy District Court.

4:48 p.m. - Police received a call from Middlesex Superior Court Probation Department reporting they had a Warrant for a party that they were tracking via his electronic monitoring bracelet to a duplex to the right of the cul-de-sac on Caesar Jones Way. Michael Leonick, 35, of Bedford was arrested on a warrant from Middlesex Superior Court and illegal possession of a class E substance.

6:49 p.m. - Caller reports a silver BMW, operated by an elderly female, drove out of the GRSC in the entrance lane. The vehicle then made a left turn on The Great Road traveling westbound. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.
