Certain materials are not accepted as household waste at the event. Please see the list of acceptable and unacceptable materials under the Household Hazardous Waste tab on the Board of Health website.
In an effort to be efficient and to keep costs down, the town of Bedford asks people to come to the event with at least 10 gallons or 10 pounds of waste materials. That is the minimum per car. One way to reach this amount: bring your neighbors' household hazardous wastes to the event along with your own.
