Manchester Man Broke Into, Damaged High School
A local man was arrested and charged with burglary at Central High School in Manchester on Monday.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - A local man was arrested and charged with burglary at Central High School in Manchester on Monday.
According to Manchester Police, an officer responded to the high school just after midnight on May 14 and saw a male subject exiting the school through a fire escape. He flashed a light on the subject who immediately retreated inside the school.
Police said the officer located a wallet containing a New Hampshire identification and social security card in front of the Beech Street doors as he searched for entry into the school.

After setting up a perimeter, officers located Robert Hartman, 20, of Manchester, NH, who told police he lost his wallet somewhere in the school.
Police informed Hartman that they had found his wallet and placed him in custody for burglary.

Inside the school, police found graffiti in the music room, and damaged screens and bathroom stalls on the lower level.
Police estimated the damage at $600.
Hartman who was charged with burglary was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 14.
