b.good restaurant, slated for 168 the Great Road in Bedford, just got its business license approved at Monday night's selectmen's meeting; the "coming soon!" signs went up Tuesday, and opening is about three weeks away, says co-owner Anthony Ackil.

Ackil says Bedford is the kind of town b. good wants to be in: lots of young families, lots of businesses and a population that doesn't all flee the town in the daytime to commute elsewhere.

Ackil and his business partner, Jon Olinto, have been friends since grade school in Dedham and have wanted to open a business together almost as long.

The Bedford store will be their 11th; but 10th company-owned. Olinto and Ackil have started franchising b.good and will soon open stores in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine.
