Shawsheen Boys' Hockey Moves Ahead in Tournament Play
The team won in the opening game against Swampscott Thursday.
BILLERICA, MA - Shawsheen Boys’ hockey won in the first round of the MIAA North Division 3 tournament on Thursday knocking out Swampscott in the tournament.
Shawsheen, which was seeded ninth in the tournament, won to eighth seed Swampscott 5-4 Thursday night in Woburn.
Shawsheen went 9-7-4 in regular season play.

Shawsheen goes on to play Lowell Catholic Sunday night at the Chelmsford Forum.
