Parade On Deck For Marathon Champion

Becca Pizzi, the Belmont woman who last week became the first U.S. woman to finish seven marathons in seven continents in seven days, is getting a hometown welcome.

Belmont is throwing a parade in celebration of Pizzi, 35, this Thursday.

Pizzi won the women’s division of the World Marathon Challenge, running marathons in Antarctica, Chile, Miami, Spain, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia.
