Belmont Mom Who Gave Birth In Ambulance Visits Fire Station
Mom brought her newborn baby back to the ambulance that helped deliver her.
BELMONT, MA — A Belmont mother paid a special visit to the Belmont Fire Station to thank the first responders who helped deliver her baby girl.
The delivery happened on Sept. 10 when Belmont first responders received a call about a woman in labor in her home. They were able to get to her and pick her up quickly, but the baby girl wasn't wasting any time and crews delivered her in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
When all was said and done, the baby girl was delivered just 20 minutes after the 9-1-1 call was made.
