Belmont Police Investigate Fatal Box Truck Rollover

BELMONT, MA — A man died in a rollover crash on Thursday morning in Belmont.

The man was identified as a 45-year-old man driving a box truck. Police said the crash happened around 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of Common Street and Dunbarton Road. A police investigation found that the man lost control of the truck, and it rolled over on Common Street.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Belmont Police Department, with the assistance of the
Middlesex District Attorney's Office, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit and the MSP Truck Team.
