Belmont's Snow Chances Sunday Into Monday

BELMONT, MA – While it's certainly not the worst New Englanders have seen, the snowfall Sunday night into Monday may affect the early morning commute.

According to the National Weather Service, two to four inches of snow is possible for the Belmont area. The snow will mix with rain Monday morning, with new precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch.

The NWS is also projecting winds of 6-10 mph and says gusts could get as high as 25 mph. Luckily, it seems the remainder of the school week will run smoothly, as the forecast calls for clear skies and cold temperatures, with minimal chance of snow showers.
