The Costume Company Moving To Belmont: Report

BELMONT, MA – The Costume Company is moving from Arlington to Belmont, according to a Wicked Local report. Store owner Jeanne Keenan told the Arlington Advocate earlier this month that she will move the shop to 334 Trapelo Road in Belmont.

The shop is expected to open sometime in mid-July. The Costume Company has spent more than 25 years in Arlington and will hold a moving sale at 489 Massachusetts Avenue until the end of June, according to Wicked Local.

Keenan told Wicked Local the move was prompted by expensive rents. The Belmont shop is a bit of a downsize from her current storefront but "has a lot of charm."
