Katherine Clark ignores requests to debate opponent, Caroline Colarusso
STONEHAM, MA - Incumbent congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-D) has not responded to requests to debate her Republican opponent, Caroline Colarusso. On August 21, Ms. Clark received a letter sent to her campaign's Belmont PO Box, via the dedicated United States Postal Service, requesting to debate the issues facing the district by Ms. Colarusso. To date, no response has been given by Clark or her campaign.

In a statement, Colarusso argued that "Katherine Clark is ignoring the request to debate. The voters of the Fifth congressional district of Massachusetts deserve to hear where the candidates stand on the important issues of the day. Clark's apparent lack of interest and history of dodging debates as a member of Congress harms the democratic process America was built on. This election is far too important to be cast aside."
Urging supporters to encourage a debate, the Colarusso campaign is launching an online petition for voters to "demand Katherine Clark debate Caroline Colarusso and be held accountable for her votes in Congress." You may sign the petition by clicking here:
