Overturned Truck Backs Up Belmont Traffic

BELMONT, MA — An overturned truck caused heavy delays for commuters in Belmont on Wednesday morning. The truck was flipped onto it's side between Concord Avenue and Pleasant Street, just steps from town hall.

Police warned drivers to find another route or to expect up to 90 minute delays in the area. No word on what caused the crash or if anyone was injured. Watertown Police were on scene with truck enforcement to help clear the scene.
