This class reviews Infant and Child CPR and choke-saving skills for ages birth to 8 years old. It follows the American Heart Association’s Family and Friends curriculum. It is not a certification class; but it is specifically created for those who wish to have the hands-on skills and knowledge on how to save the life of someone in their family. The class includes a combination of lecture, discussion, and a lot of hands-on practice. Participants will have their own manikin to practice on during class and a book to take home with them. Additional topics of car seat safety, sleep safety, prevention strategies, childproofing, and basic first aid for children will be reviewed.
