Sebastian Tolls Earns Eagle, Honors Veterans
Troop 304 scout helped map veterans' graves in Belmont
Sebastian Tolls of Belmont Boy Scout Troop 304 earned his Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank in scouting, on February 26, 2018. For his Eagle project, he worked with the town's Veterans Services Officer Robert Upton and many scouts from Troop 304, parents, and friends to collect the Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates of all veteran's graves located on both the Belmont Cemetery and the Highland Meadow Cemetery. The coordinates will soon be publicly available and should help interested people to find and visit veteran's graves more easily.
