The unpredictable but potentially disastrous Storm Jonas might spread some snow over Belmont this weekend, with rising chances of snow accumulations from 1-2 inches.
Saturday has a 60 percent chance of snow, mainly after 2 p.m., of less than half an inch possible, and Saturday night has a 60 percent chance of snow with 1-2 possible inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Blizzard warnings began Thursday in Martha’s Vineyard and Block Island, with forecast predictions up to 3 inches around Greater Boston and up to 7 inches in Southeastern Massachusetts and the Cape, where wind gusts could reach 60 mph, Patch previously reported.
