Winter Storm to Bypass Belmont?
Light snow is possible, but check the forecast throughout the weekend to be sure.

The approaching snowstorm that has prompted state of emergency alerts from Virginia up the East Coast to New York City and expected to bring more than a feet of snow to parts of the East Coast this weekend is expected to lightly coat or altogether bypass Belmont.
According to National Weather Service, these conditions are estimated for this weekend:
Friday morning: Sunny, high near 29. Northwest wind 5-7 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, low around 16. Northwest wind 3-5 mph.
Saturday morning: 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 2 p.m. with a high near 28, northeast wind 5-11 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph and little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday night: Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of snow mainly before 1 a.m. and a low around 20, north wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
Sunday morning: Partly sunny with a high near 31.
Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 20.
