19-Year-Old Cat Abandoned At Logan Airport But Quickly Adopted
It didn't take long for somebody to scoop up this loving cat and bring her to a forever home just in time for the holidays.

BOSTON, MA — A 19-year-old cat that was recently abandoned at Logan International Airport has already found a new home, according to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
The ARL Boston website says a woman brought the cat into Boston Animal Control, saying she was given the cat, named Tangee, by a man she dropped off at Logan. He handed her the cat and a note, saying he was moving to Florida and couldn't take the cat.
The number he left on the note went to a pharmacy, and Tangee's microchip was not registered, so there was no way to track down the owner.

Patch reached out to ARL Boston and learned that Tangee is already being adopted.
Tangee is in overall good health, especially for an old gal, and is very friendly, ARL Boston said. She is, however, showing signs of early renal disease primarily due to her age, the group said.

"While there’s no exact way to equate an animal’s age to human years, best estimates are that a 19-year-old cat is roughly 96 years old in human years," the ARL Boston website says.
"For us at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, it brings us such joy that she was adopted so quickly and will be able to spend the holidays and the rest of her days in a loving home," Mike Defina of ARL Boston told Patch.
