BOSTON, MA — Free burgers from an "ATM" will introduce a new range of Big Mac sizes from McDonald's in a Boston event next week.

McDonald’s of Eastern New England is marking the launch of two new Big Mac sizes with a "customized digital Big Mac ATM" next Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the chain's Kenmore Square location.

That's a move from the original planned venue, "due to the overwhelming excitement about this event, and the number of customers interested in trying the new Macs," according to a spokesman.

Customers go to the ATM, specify the size they want and — voila! — free burger. That includes the traditional Big Mac and, per a press release, the new Mac Jr. and Grand Mac.

The "Jr." burger constitutes a single-patty Big Mac, while the "Grand" features bigger beef patties and buns, totaling 1/3 lb. of meat. "Each size still includes melty American cheese, crisp lettuce, minted onions, tangy pickles and the iconic Big Mac Sauce," the release says.
