Boston Firefighter Killed, Wife Charged With Murder

MARSHFIELD, MA — A Boston firefighter's wife is being charged with his murder after prosecutors said she stabbed him to death.

Christina Ricci, 46, stabbed Michael Ricci, 51, at their Marshfield home late Thursday afternoon, Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz's office said. Michael Ricci was pronounced dead at South Shore Hospital.

Christina Ricci's arraignment at Plymouth District Court was put on an emergency hold after an emotional Ricci collapsed, several outlets reported. She was brought to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.
