Boston Highway May Be Closed For Hours After Serious Crash
Route 1A has been closed in both directions in East Boston following a serious crash.
EAST BOSTON — Route 1A has been closed in both directions Wednesday night and could be shut down for a few more hours for an investigation into a serious crash.
The crash, first reported after 8 p.m., closed McClellan Highway near Boardman Street. Multiple detours are set up.
A state transportation spokesperson said there are serious injuries.
