Boston Public Library Encourages the Public to Partake in Art Project
Library users are celebrating Library Lover's Month by filling out paper hearts with the reason they love the BPL

BOSTON, MA - The local public library deserves some love.
Library users across Boston are celebrating Library Lover’s Month by filling out paper hearts with the reasons they love the public library -- including free WiFi and E-books.
The unique collages will then be displayed at each branch.
“This should be fun and informative, providing a new way to interact with patrons, and will give us valuable feedback on resources and programs that are especially meaningful,” said David Leonard, the Interim President of the Boston Public Library, in a statement.
“We would love to hear from everyone by telling us what they love and why,” Leonard added.
Mayor Martin J. Walsh was among those participating in the public art project.

On Tuesday, Walsh posted his reason via Twitter:
Anyone wishing to participate can grab a paper heart from the circulation desk, write down their particular reason and drop it in the Valentine’s Day box. The public can also tweet to @bplboston using #LibraryLoversMonth.
