BPD Arrest Suspect Wanted In Connection With Roxbury Shooting

A man will appear in Roxbury District Court after a shooting that occurred over the weekend.

ROXBURY, MA — Officers assigned to District B-2 of Roxbury arrested Jeremiah Mines, 30, of Roxbury Sunday night in connection to a shooting that happened Saturday night.

Police say a man was shot at 103 Ziegler St in Roxbury at 8 p.m. Saturday night. An investigation was launched and a warrant was issued by Roxbury District Court.

The Boston Police Department says the victim's injuries are non-fatal.

Mines was placed into custody and will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2nd and Subsequent Offense), and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
