City Realty Group Supports Allston-Brighton Community

CRG launches innovative initiative to help Oak Square YMCA and Allston-Brighton restaurants trying to survive during time of need

City Realty Group (CRG), a community-focused real estate development company serving the Greater Boston area since 2004, donated 200 meals in the form of gift cards to the Oak Square YMCA in Brighton. CRG created this initiative to support the Oak Square YMCA food program while also helping local restaurants impacted by the pandemic. CRG is teaming with Brighton Main Streets as an innovative approach to help the YMCA address hunger in our community while also helping small businesses recover.

“We are very appreciative of City Realty Group and the many ways they have supported Allston-Brighton throughout the pandemic,” said Oak Square YMCA Executive Director Tom Meyers. “Our major focus since last March was to help families and address food insecurity. The support of CRG has helped make it possible for us to meet the increased need during the pandemic and provide free nutritious meals to families across our community each week.”

The program provides meals from three local restaurants: Devlin’s Restaurant and Ziggy’s, both on Washington St., and The Corrib Pub on Market St. “We are really proud to support the YMCA and thankful to work with Brighton Main Streets, to gain an understanding of how supporting local business enhances the entire community,” said City Realty Group Director of Project Development Josh Fetterman.
