MASSACHUSETTS — Armed protests are planned in every state if President Donald Trump is removed from office before Inauguration Day, and others plan to "storm" federal offices when President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in, according to an FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News.

The FBI's Boston Division and Massachusetts State Police on Monday said there are no specific threats to Massachusetts.

"The FBI Boston Division is not in possession of any intelligence indicating any planned, armed protests at the four state capitals in our area of responsibility ... from January 17-20," the FBI's Boston Division told the State House News Service. Those four capitals are Boston; Concord, New Hampshire; Augusta, Maine; and Providence, Rhode Island.

Inauguration Day is Wednesday, Jan. 20.

A Massachusetts State Police spokesperson said police are aware of "general statements made online regarding potential protest activity, including one posting calling for 'peaceful armed protest' in all 50 state capitols that was the basis for an FBI bulletin."

The FBI bulletin said an armed group planned to go to Washington, D.C., on Saturday.

"They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove (Trump) via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur," the bulletin read, according to ABC News.

It doesn't look like the 25th Amendment will be invoked after a report that Trump and Vice President Mike Pence planned to see through Trump's final days in the White House. But House Democrats plan to impeach Trump this week, potentially setting up another contentious battle.

Authorities are on high alert after last week's storming of the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump extremists. Five people died in the riot.
